I have a 29!
I think its the best bang for the buck! Mine has a whipplecharge 502mpi.
A buddy of mine has 350's in his. It handle great! Docking is a piece of cake! It should run in the 72 to 76 mile an hour range!
He did however have a few prolems with shifter cables breaking a coulpe of times. It was determined that the factory had them routed in a position causing this. His mechanic fixed it and no problems to date!!
I think it handles the rough stuff better than any boat in its length. This is only my opinion though! I slice through 2 to 4's no PROBLEM!!
They have a rock solid hull.

29 scarab w/twin 350's
New to the board hello everyone I own a 96 29 scarab twin 350 MPi's On a good day top speed 70 per gps...23 props If I'm not mistaken in 94 they came w/twin 350 mags -250 hp so 72 - 76 would be a stretch.....great boat would not pass up if price is right
