Sea yea what do you have done to your avs mine stock would only run 74 75 on gps i put imco 2 inch shorter lowers on and picked up 2.5 mph. I have a lot of stuff to go on mine starting next week 800 hp keith eickerts, xr drives with the shorter lowers and stellings stand off boxes with a 1 inch raise. I am waiting on a few efi parts.

I run one of my customers boats that I built, '97 33 avs started with 502 efi's on M-1 Prochargers(approx700) , lightning header (with silent choice) modified computers and nose cones ran consistent 96MPH on radar 97 mph radar was the best with this combo just put on 2 inch shorter drives along with totally new engines still 502 but carbureted with m-4 Prochargers (approx 900) ran 102MPH on radar and blew an upper right at the gun may have went faster. I have ran several props etc. on this boat, it always runs good as far as handling but still has crappy prop slip numbers overall the hull is slow. But probably handles the best of all fast v's I've seen.

Think theres a relation there??
Its not too slippery so it handles well..vs. slippery and fast and handles like ****

no kidding jb you must be a hydrodynamic engineer. The point was these guys up top are talking of some speeds i don't beleive this boat ran 82 in hot boat tests with hp 500's ( 940 propshaft hp) I used to have a velocity 32' that I ran at radar 80MPH with only 454 mags (700 propshaft hp) and it handled just fine if you know how to drive it.
