No offense makdaddy, but Bravo drive props do fit on a TRS drive... I've run 15 1/2 '' dia. 25'' pitch old style Mirage... 15 1/2 '' dia 23'' pitch Mirage Plus.... 23'' hydromotive 4 blades... they all worked well.... you need to cut off the zinc anode tab...(which you do not need w/power steering...)....

A friend of mine has a Scarab III with 370s and TRS. 21 Mirage is about all he can spin. If he's taking out a load of people (and you can get a lot on that boat, he's actually better off with 19s. If you want these boats to move you need a pair of big engines.

In '87 your trannies are definatly BW'S. I have spun 23 Marige's at 4600 RPM,63 MPH. I've run 24 Bravo 1's-4400 RPM,62 MPH. Hole shot with the Brovo 1's is unbelievable as is mid range. I have an '85 III. I just put a set of 600 HP blower motors in and still dialing it in. So far 27" Mirage's 5200 RPM,75 MPH. Any number of props could work. You might try switching your drives to get more stern lift. Just a thought.

I believe if the the motors are running right you can spin 24" bravo four blades. My S-3 will not even get on plane with a pair of 23" mirages. The bow comes up alittle then they blow out. I will have to say that the 24" bravo four blade is the best choice for that motor and drive set up. The trannies are borg and warner as I believe the later TRS all used this trannie. Its called the Borg and warner velvet drive with 1:1 ratio. My S-3 with the 370's runs 62.5 on gps. I added the gill exuast and I used to 65.4 mph. I plane off faster than most smaller boats also. A buddy of mine has a 22 scarab excell with a 525hp and I pull out of the hole faster than he does. He passes me when I reach 60mph. My S-3 hooks up nice with the bravo-one four blades.
