probibibly.. 23'' Mirage plus three blades or 22 '' hydrimotives are your best bet.... I'm selling my 23'' labbed Mirage plus... (look in parts for sale) going to 24'' hydros.... My Scarab-III is a 83../w 440hp 502's.. running 60mph... good boat heavy.. not the fastest but good in the rough.... welcome...post some pictures... heres mine....Dave

Thanks Dave, I'll check the add. Need to upgrade my membership view/send pics so I'll post the pics later. Any comments on TRS drives, never had a boat with TRS's before.

I guess the trannies are Mercruisers. The boat is still on transportation from NYC to Helsinki (shipping takes about 2 weeks) so I'll be able to tamper with it on late July (tons of questions to come)....Sami

If the engines are 370 HP the transmissions are likely the bigger and better Borg Warners. I've picked these up a few times and they weigh about 100 lbs, not enough to matter in a heavy boat. I would take the TRS BW combo anyday over Bravo drives, especially if you plan to increase HP.

Thanks Tomcat, the engines sure are 370 HP 454's so there's a chance that trannies actually are BW. Planning on doing a rebuilt in a near future. Good to know that the drives can hold some more punch.
Dave, here's a pic.
