Gary, What do you know about this boat? I am curious to know what it's history. The guy I bought it from has had it since the early 90's

Pat, Engine photos show turbo and exhaust manifold as per factory. This much is either factory or somebody has done a good job of copying, right down to the heatshields.
The intercooler looks like a Gale Banks setup but hard to be sure.
As for the drives, I am with Puder, they are SSM IIs. A TRS upper with SSM bullet lower.
Possible explanation for the SSM V decal is that the older decal kits don't seem to be available. Last decal kit I got for my TRS included an SSM V decal only, no SSM II.

I was pretty sure the turbos were factory but I wasn't sure about the turbo heatshields. The intercooler says "chiller" on it and the guy I bought it from said the previous owner added it. It also has wastegates that get adjusted by turning a screw on the wastegate. They are below and at the rear of the exhaust manifolds. Are these original too? I'm still wondering if anyone has seen a set up like this before, and if they did how was its performance? Does anyone have an idea of what kind of block, crank and heads this kind of conbo has?
