thanks :-)
You asked me for som pics of my exhaust... I did a "turn around" on their way to the tailpipes to be able to insert slip-in silencers. The outside tailpipes was already on when I bought the boat.
I also replaced the standard guages to a set Autometer (sometimes we do unessersary things, but we live only once;-)

Okey, now I understand.. I was a bit lost there.. :-)
How much power are you aiming for? I imagin you want to do more than your 89mph ;-)
My plans for next summer, a 1 or 2 inch shorter lower unit and a better prop, and also flattern the "humps" out on the second step on the body.
I made 82,4mph last test this year.. now it's to cold for boating here..

I'm not so sure you would benefit from taking out the gunnel knots because at speed it is basically out of the water. here is a pic. You can watch my youtube videos as well and see that the boat is out the water above them. I will try to get a gopro video of the transom the next chance I get. I tried a 2" shorty but couldn't get on plane, I did not install the cavitation plate when I put the shorty on so that may have had different outcome if the plate was on.
