Thanks for the conversation; that's why I love these NJPPC events. I'll be in touch in in a week or so about trying one of the props that we discussed.

It's sad to report that although we had mostly sunny skies from Forked River to AC but from Toms River on up north had some crazy storming weather on and off all day.
It was impossible to get the helicopter off the ground in the conditions they were having up there...
I made my best effort to be on the jetty waiting for the boats to come in the inlet at AC. What I was not counting on was a dredge barge to be at the end of the Jetty...
This is the 1st time in all the year's I have been shooting where I was not able to get any images of the run...
I did manage to get a few pics from this morning when they were leaving the inlet... At least it's something, but I am hoping the weekend isn't a total wash.
The only real coverage was the Dock Party after the run...
Pics to come later....

A friend of mine was on his brand new 52' OL, they said it was rough. Probably would have been some good shots.
Looking forward to seeing the dock party pics. I have more fun at the parties than the runs sometimes!

I assume it was this one ?
If so, I can't imagine it was too rough for something of that size ...

Wow! Another amazing A/C poker run!!!!! We had a great weekend, ran the Friday run inshore and played in the ocean on Saturday. My friend Adam took a whole bunch of pictures and we should have some up in a day or so!
Thanks again to Dave and all the NJPPC crew who work so hard to make this run awesome!

The best news is that were no problems during this event as is normal for NJPPC events.I was at the event and as a sponsor of the club it was amazing to see how many high dollar big power boats were there.I had a great time hanging out with many of my customers and the only glitch was that the bartender didn't have any GERITOL. I had about 20 boats in the fleet and the boats that were not TOTAL DOLLAR customers will probably become our clients shortly due to the ever changing insurance company appetites for this type of boat and the 10% premium credit that our program now offers to NJPPC members.
