I am looking way back in my pile of VHS tapes....... Or I will contact Howard Arneson to fine a tape....... ( I am SURE he has it in his stack of boxes in his garage?)......
A video of a Florida race having the Arneson Special Cougar hauling ass, coming up on the port side of another new Aluminum Cougar ( Flap Jack????? ).....
The video shows a scary view of a WAY TOO LIGHTWEIGHT 40' Cougar...... Barely in the water...... The left front*** knifed into the water, the boat nearly split in 2......
Replaying slow motion, you can see the port engine flying just over the bow of the Arneson....... The engine is clearly still running!!! You see the exhaust pulsing!!!!
What a still shot that will make!!
( " left front" )..... I can't seem to spell 'sponson' correctly.
