Ive got some nice water proof ones to go on mine, had em for about a year, will have them on with the new paint this year.

I put LED strips on the top rail of my old boat/trailer. Wired to running lights on trailer turned on and off by a float switch mounted to rear section of trailer. So they were only on when trailer was dunked. Worked great, but the sun/uv caused the clear silicone coating on the LED strips to turn yellow and become an eyesore. I was getting ready to rip it all out and do something different, but sold the boat.

I used double side tape and the the “L” tabs that were included to attach the pods to the trailer then used black caulk around the entire pod to make it watertight and help keep them in place.. here are a few pictures there are a lot more in the Baja forum under the the thread Phil’R Up 25 outlaw
