The only stability issues I have ever had was the boat feeling a little flighty when hitting other boat wake coming from the sides at high speed. The jack plates actually seemed to have helped with this though as the boat feels more balanced now.
Getting the trim right seems to very important in this boat as well. Other cats I have had have liked positive trim, while this boat seems to like nuetral to a little negative trim.
This is by far the best cat I have owned. 114 with weight in the boat, fresh water, and hot conditions is impressive. I put my friend in the boat the same day and we ran 112. Not bad for two guys over 200 pounds.
