Ok we need to run a second idler on the crossover.
This will take up the slack on the long belt. (2000mm)
I see others that dont run them However, I was instructed
to do it.

Start with 3/4 inch alum. plate.
Get one inch dowel and tell them ya want to run a 3/8
inch hole down the center.
Chop the pipe into three inch pieces and they will be the stand
offs.

Use the crossover as a template and drill 4 holes in the plate.
Get some grade 8 bolts and measure where the pulley's gonna
go.

I use a vice grip to hold it in place. to make sure it will actualy
work.

Heres what it looks like after buffing it up.

The carbs with the -8 bowl feeds and the .150
Needle and seats.

Gotta love the Parker Blue hose. What nice stuff compared
to the Braded stainless lines.

Here is the PSI adapter plate. It takes the Wedge shaped discharge and converts it to the rectangular opening.

Notice the discoloration of the intercooler this is from the old blowers. You can see it was getting hot.
Atleast the curanickel has a higher melting point then alum.
This is what Roger at PSI was warning me about with melting
cores. Gotta keep the bowls full of fuel.
Where the fuelpresure sending unit is reading it can easily
miss read actual fuel pressure after the needle and seat.

Those chillers get filled with sea weed. Pull that front cap that says superchiller and bam packed with the weed. Passes the stariners.

Man what a project. I wish I had the know how to be able to some of that stuff. Just git chills reading all the post then get to see the roosters comming from the back.
The question of the day is the wife? Is she happy you spent near a half of a year doing this with the outcome of the project? If not she is nuts if so congrats what a thread. Be safe and go like hell
