I really dont know Sh@T about them But after having lenthy
discussions with FAA certified Turbine builders.

The direct result of the damage occuring in the Discovery
Video is Simply over heating the Turbine.
They are also subjecting the boat to Extreme conditions
Riding into the direct paths of rooster tails.
They overide the thermal safety. (Red Button).

Stay within the design limits Torque, Pyrometer temp
and you have a 3000 hour plus engine.
And should the theory be flawed.
I am installing a custom KN filtration System which will eliminate most of the salt spray.
This in combonation with the freshwater rinse should eliminate most of the Salt contamination.

Dennis OSO member "The Menace" has Helfire a 46 Skater with t53s
Ask him how many rebuilds he has to do running his boat.

The US Coast Runs Turbines in all there search and Rescue helicopters. How many of them are falling from the Sky?

To answer your original question.
My friends call me T-REX cause my arms dont go to the bottom of my pockets when it comes time to pay the tab

Inshort the video is Great for Geico and Arruda As I said before they are setting the standards on the short list.
However dont always take what is viewed on a promotional
video to the bank.

.
They just run and run and run and run and run and run and run etc.

First oil change at 500 hours and the rebuild 10,000 hours. I will be ashes in a canister before the rebuild needs to be done.

Starter/ gen wiring harneses are complete.
They consist of au-02gauge. one for ground which attaches
to the common boat ground buss.
One for Start which goes to the start relays 24volt.
And the last one which ties to the start/gen relay. (24volt Charge).
There is also a little 12 gauge exciter wire which goes to the
A+ terminal on the start/gen. When 24volt is applied to this
the Gen Wire will start admitting 28-30volt 300amp charge.

The next warm streak we get. We are going to attempt
Droping these puppies in.
