Hey Barry, how much power were you putting to those drives. Maybe this will help us determine what would be a safe amount of power to pull.

Ok now for the forward hatches.

They are put in position and fine lined to match EGO Graphics
Design.

Notice the Polished forward scoops. this will capture fresh cool
air and force it in the engine bays. This should allow for a cooler engine bay.

The air will exit at the rear of the stern via billet vents.

Stay tuned for the prep and airbrush work on these hatches.

My plan is to get them done over the weekend.

Ok here we go!

I Red Scotch brite the hatches before anything.
Then Washed them with prep sol.

The green tape lines (Fine Line) stays down all thru the painting. Then I will pull them before the clear.

I put down a violet base then sprayed the Tropical blue.

I picked up a 100 dollar Airbrush at Bear Air.

It looks like Steve at EGO used Black for the drop shadows.

He is suppose to stop by and check up on me.
By the time he gets hear I will have screwed it all up

I also sprayed some swatches so I could match it closer.

Its alot harder to match when your not blending into ajacent
panels.

Considering I,m a monkey with a airbrush I figured I better practice.
