We will be in Sarasota for sure... and uncertain whether i will be leaving it in sfl or bringing it back for labor day on lake travis, located in austin, tx (which you might want to check out). not a "haul azz" spot, but a bunch of good people and some clear, fresh water w/ a ton of fun!

i don't ever seem to make it to texoma, but you can speak w/ several folks here on the board, namely, txspeedfreak, which are my friends, Kelli and David. david mentions there are several cats there... and i know zane just bought an mti, which i imagine will be there by then...

1.35 is the ticket. Have used it on several setups similar to yours.

Three blades? That is why you are running 20% slip. I normally run four blades or five blades on my 32 Skater. Five are the best but have a little too much stern lift on that small cat. I have a set of 30 four blades for sale that would be perfect on your boat. 16.5 x 30 should put you at 150-160 mph with even more punch.

Go with the 1.35 gears on your 36. Bill is right 1.24 take a lot of power. I have tried 1.24, 1.35 and even 1.5 gears on Number sixes and the 1.35 is nice setup.

17" diameter is way to much on a cat... Should be running 16-16.5 on the diameter....the larger the diameter the more transom lift you will get
