Last weekend runs at 131 was air temp 87 1300 elevation, dry air (Lake Mead near Vegas) I know we loose HP on that lake.

So who knows for sure what's going on when I'm on the lake.

This 131 speed could have gone up with more time at that RPM (Ie let it run out farther but not much) and I did have a little throttle left.

I am going to send out the Props and have then scanned to tell us exactly what we have (they came with my 32 Skater I had before but they where used back then) ie: not exactly sure what they are as far as Cup and rake and are not labbed as far as i know.
Less ft pds at 6100 sounds weak, something seems off

Brien, Try this site to calculate speed vs weight and horsepower.

Weight is everything in the boat= fuel and meat sacks!

Do you have full time mufflers? Where do you trim the drives for full speed?

nordicflame sorry about that we stayed at Echo Bay and there was a Nordic there as well. But yes I was at Calville looking at a houseboat for sale on Saturday. Where you the one racing my buddy in his 38 Donzi Comp up towards Wishing Well? He said he couldn't keep up with you.

Yes that was us at Echo. It was an awesome weekend for sure.
Wasn't me racing your buddy. My little 496s don't scare many people

They are in the process of coming out and new 588 cubic inchers are going in. Should be a fun ~100mph ride then but I won't be chasing down any Skaters

We love it down there in the Fall and Spring. Maybe we'll run into you again and we'll stop and say hi.

Dave
