Thanks but no thanks, I've come this far, the finished result is kinda in sight now, but how much do you want for those 2.5's?

I want to save these for some future project. These were built by Alex Hledin so they're somewhat rare. Good luck on your project...looks awsome.

Default 36 Skater project

While the boat and trailer are getting tweaked I wanted to plan out, and purchase all of the necessary items to redo the cockpit dash and console area.
To start, I had to trace out patterns to match the left and right side as well as the center section of the dash for the purpose of getting carbon fiber panels custom made to match.
after that, I used polished bezels to trace the positions for all of the guages using the appropriate sizes. This also helped in eyeballing everything to see how it would fit together.

Default 36 skater project

I want to use a Garmin 5212 GPS but do not have one yet. I contacted Garmin.com and they sent me the 5212 cut out template for the dash so that I could include that in my patterns.
Also needed to come up with a plan for the switch panel that mounts at an angle between the console and center section.

Thumbs up 36 skater project

Bill at Diamond Performance found a company for me that makes the carbon fiber dash panels for many big name boats. After cutting and marking the patterns He directed me to send them to Steve at Innatech.
After the technical/design stages, tweaking, etc. my panels arrived
These pictures really don't do them justice. I'm impressed with the the quality and precision. Steve does fantastic work.
