Man, Dave! I like what you're doing! yeh the skater is going to be ready to crane into the water now. Anybody have a strap for sale?
Pretty and clever with the radius notch on the tunnel pods!
I've never seen that done with the non-skid before, that's supercool!

Thats actually the way they were originally mounted and these were pretty much what was on it except they were the stainless ones (weighed a ton). Are we missing something? What would chafe? Do you have an example pic of what you are referring to? Thanks

Lemmie know, right now i only have black though. I can get clear but the quantity i have to buy is kinda pricey. I can do pretty much any logo in it

Yes I will post pix later . 0.90 stanless plates that get sandwiched between jack plates and transom . Yes the stainless Jack plates are a bit heavier but they are the only plates rated for severe offshore use . In your case you will most likely be OK only because those 2.5 wegh I think 350 lbs . In my case I have 3 Litres that weigh 505 . I had same alum plates on a checkmate that started to fail @ slot area after a few years of use . Just trying to help . If you need plates I can hook you up with them

I think the plates used between the jackplates and transom are good insurance with offshore outboard applications.
