I just put some ramps in the bottom of my 21,will go out this weekend and see how they work,i will post some pictues when i pull it out of the garage,Skater Jim can you send some pictures over of what ya did, thanks,i seem to beleive i stuck the right motor on a wide left hand turn any others have problems in the corners with overheating your 2.5s,my motors are on the highest hole from the bottom ,worked great in a straight line with lots of throttle, but stuck a freshinrd up motor breacking it in,so i am gonna drop a hole and i put the ramps in,motor is bolted to the transome, what do you guys think? Thanks Jeff

Default L/U alterations

BMCCRAY,

I can see that the ramps have been widened but it appears that the inlets for water have been moved toward the back of the gear case. Did you obsruct or fill the intake holes and if so what did you use?

Thanks,

Sam

the inlets are 3/8" farther towards the back of the gearcase also the edge where the ramp meets the hole has been more rounded to make a smoother transition.

Put ramps in the boat,as peter told me,i have a 21 with twin 260s on the highest hole setting i can get, motors bolted to the transome getting 20lbs on right motor and 17 on left and it hauls the mail 115 on the punch with 32s,boat ran 95 in a thousand foot from an idle start it is trully the quickest of skaters....
