Yes first Cat but have owns all kinds of boats for 30 years and raced Mod VP back in the Mid 80's out here on the West Coast. Something is not right. the first time I ran this thing at Desert Storm 4 years ago with 1.24 gears it ran 146 with no problem even in not perfect water.

Props are like women,,no two alike!! Dont think its the 18* rake.. Put a set of 16s and try them.. Its all about set up and test time..AJ had that boat hauling ass seems like it should be close already if you didnt change the drive height or engine placement.. He had less HP and was going faster..
Post some short videos or pictures running from another boat..
