skater 28

I need help with setup.
I have a skater 28 with 2 x Mercury xs 250 hp, today is no setback. Maybe switching up me in the future to 300 Mercury XS. (But not now)
There are also extra water intake to the engine from the bottom of the boat.
it sits Cleaver 34 "today, and the boat run 103 mph.

Which model you recommend me to have the lift? How much setback should I have?
How high must the engine is hoisted from the bottom of the boat?

Would be grateful for answers. please help me.

103 with 250XS is Good!! My 28 with 300XS ran 80@5,000&105@6,200.I took my boat to Shaun Torrente of STR racing, now it cruises 90-92@5,000 & 115+@6,300.I have taken my Skater to a few shops in S.Fl. over yhe past 8 yrs and Shaun Torrente was The Best!!

That was very good, what did they do? Do you have lifts for your boat?

my engine is from 2005, leaving more hp.
Mercury xs from 2002-2005 provide more horsepower, agaist 2006 - and newer.
