Skater models
Hello Skater land.
I'm a big fan and trying to learn a bit about the boats. I have searched around but haven't been successful finding information on model differences.
A few questions:
How many models are there?.
Things I would love to understand........
-1/4 canopy and full windshields, are those different models or just options?
-What is model B ?
-When did Skater start putting 1/4 canopies on?
-Ive seen 1/4 canopies close together and some farther apart, is this considered a wide body vs something else (standard or narrow)?
- do the above differences apply the same to most of the 30-38 size boats?
Thanks for putting up with me.
Tom

The thing is Skaters are all very custom boats. Pete will pretty much build you whatever you like as long as you have the cash. A lot of skaters share the same bottom but have options such as a flat deck, 1/4 canopies, windshield, bussel, or tunnel extensions. Skater even cuts boats down the middle and will widen them. For example a 338 fat boy is a 30 hull that gets widened and a bussel added.
Model B often refers to the 32' skaters. A new 32' hull came out around 2000 I believe and the new hull is referred to by many as a 32B, and the older 32's are now sometimes called 32 A

.
has anyone built a 338 fat boy model but with outboards? Thus no bussel.
