Hey Guys, Here is another final rendering of my boat. Added a name"Saint Ruth". Named her after my Mom. She is a great person. Love her so much. I put it back on the engine hatch so it would be easy for someone to change in the event of a sale. The way its going to be painted it will be easy to sand off and reclear again or you could take the engine hatch off and repaint the whole thing if needed.

Looks good. What already talking about selling??? You have to destroy at least four lower units and one power head before you are eligible to sell a New Skater. You could do her name in vinyl.

Looks very classy Steve

I really like it. I also like the silver light color of Skater 318 on the deck.

Fantastic. You have created a timeless masterpiece. This boat will be cool in 20 years. Great job.

Hey Sam, Was planning on all that but Im just thinking ahead in case. Some have the name painted large down the side which looks really good but a new owner would have to repaint the whole boat for the most part. I just wanted to pay a small tribute to my Mom for all she has done for me. Thomas is actually gonna paint the hatch then clear it a couple times and then paint the name on it and clear again. If it were to switch owners only the hatch would need to be sanded carefully and then cleared again. May make for an easier sale if that time arises. Not anticipating it. I could see myself in this rig for a very long time. Maybe they'll be out with 500s before i get the itch for more speed. I really like outboards. Ha. 500's, Funny right. Its always good to have an exit strategy for everything of great value.

Hey everybody, Found out today my motors are coming to the factory beginning of June. Was thinking boat is going into paint two weeks or so. That s almost the end of April. Then would have to be rigged and run a bit for basic prop choice. Probably would not have gotten to me before the middle of May anyway so its not that much of a delay in the end. They are going to have it all rigged and ready for the motors when they arrive. At any rate its gonna be a hell of a Summer. Cant wait. Steve.

Hey, on the bright side- if it takes any longer you may be able to call it a 2016
