Yea Originally they were gonna be Lavorsi but I really like the Mercury controls. Ive seen them work in videos and they seem to move real nice. Im sure they would not have used them if they were no good. I like the short levers for the shifts and throttles. If I'm not mistaken I believe they are both fly by wire. Steve.

Well Boys tomorrow is the big day if everything goes as planned. Tony goes with my boat to Mercury for three days roughly. Thats the plan anyway. Wouldn't expect anything wonderful tomorrow. Seems like the first run always stinks. Id be happy to see 103mph tomorrow if they get it in the water at all. They have to get it there which is about 5 hrs I think. Then check everything out with boat and steering. I think they have some more work to do on that before they can run it. Probably see something on Tuesday I would think. I would actually be happy to see some finished Pics of the boat in natural light tomorrow. If thats all I get Ill be very happy. Ha.

Steve, WTH! Get your a$$ on a plane and go run with those guys!!!!!!
If that were my boat they would have to pry my dead hands off the steering wheel........
I bet you can't wait and the excitment is killing you.
Hope all works out for you!

Yea I hear ya. It came up kinda out of no where. It was tempting but in the end all thats important is that it gets done. My options were to go out to Skater to place the seat and throttles or let it go to Merc now. They had already done the throttles which they weren't supposed to do. In my opinion from looking at other boats and their set ups the console is going to have to be yanked and replaced with a new one with the throttles where they fit for me. They appear to be way far back for me when i figure where the seat will probably be for my liking. Since they were already done they decided to mount the seat where it works and take it to Merc because they were ready for it. Who knows when they would have been ready after I went out and got measured for seat and had console replaced with the throttles where I wanted them. My theory is if they're ready just go and get it done. Ill go out when it gets back to Skater and do the fitting so to speak for everything. After that if the throttles are not fitting for me they will change out the console paint it and rig the new one appropriately. I was a assured it won't be a problem and I never thought it would be it just becomes a time issue. These guys are great to work with and their customer service is A #1. I know they'll make it perfect for me. I just hope it doesn't take a week to paint and re rig a new one. In the end Im getting exactly what I want from a company that makes the best boat in the market. Who could ask for anything more. It'll be awesome when I get it. Im starting to have dreams about it for sure. It really is like a dream come true. So lucky to be able to have one of these.

Nasty i have never met someone with your kind of patient and being so relaxed about it. Totally agree about getting everything done right etc but still will be in a plane on my way over there to see them dialing it, seeing what they do, learn the boat etc. Than ship it to Miami for the KW run.

Well Boat is getting underway as we speak. Seems like the throttles may end up being ok. Being that the sticks are like short shifters on a car and don't travel as far we may end up ok. No running the boat today as it won't get there til later today. I will have pics of the finished product later on. Hope for some decent numbers tomorrow.

Hey guys, Boat actually ended up leaving tonight around 6pm I think. They had some assembly work to do on interior prior to leaving. Here are a lot of pics of work being done and end product on trailer.
