Boat looks great!!! And I agree on the cowl graphics. I'm not a huge fan of the custom painted look either, but lettering/striping to match the colors of the boat in the factory pattern would really finish everything off.

Awesome job!

Very true Sam, Im not gonna do any paint. Might just get the Mercury stickers in blue that go on the white motors. May be fine. If not ill get a print/rap guy to do a copy of whats there already in a matching blue or silver/gray. Been thinking about it for a while. I do have the time.

Steve congrats the boat looks and runs great, its also quite a feather in Mercury and Skaters cap, I doubt Mercury is personally dialing many other boats, it shows the importance of Skater as a brand and shows how much Mercury cares about these motors performance.

Cheers

I think it's a smart business move on Mercury's part..... Skater sold A LOT of Merc O/B's over the years on the 24,32 and then the 28's... going the extra distance on this boat is kinda like thowing the cat market a bone with some meat on it to chew on

Good to see even Merc Racing can recognise it's a Skater Nation!

I know the big number is what everybody cues in on but I'm thinking this boat is going to show out in the "on plane to 80,90 mph range". It's going to be a like a sprint car coming out of turn 2. The acceleration is what's going to bring on the smiles.

I myself was all about the top number and still its important but over the last couple days as I look at what the end product is Iam so happy with everything about the boat. If they find more great if they don't so be it. The boat handles absolutely fantastic and Accelerates very good. It is a big boat. Weighs 5500 lbs dry and at 110mph it is doing about as good as it gets. Tony recommended we leave it at Merc to see whats left so we did. For me it is an absolute work of art. Love it. Am so fortunate to be able to join this family of boaters. Once again for me it is a dream come true. Steve.
