I know DCB had the first O/B with 400's but the follow up to that build was very close lipped... Steve's boat ( looks, build progression and proven numbers) and that vid clip may be the poster child of Merc's resurrection of O/B cat dominance in the market place.

Sounds Sweet!... and it is a big boat 'cause the 400's don't look like a fridge hanging on the back like some others I've seen - lol

Hey guys, Skater is still working away on a few things. They rushed to get the boat ready for Mercury Racing. Still have a list to complete but thats OK with me as its winter in NJ and we all know Winter Sux. Had to cut down windshield near the rear of the cockpit. Was way to high before. They thought it might keep the wind off the rear seated passengers but it actually created a buffeting kind of effect so they did what they thought best. Think it looks much better too. Replaced the decals on the motors from Mercs Red set to a blue set they got from Mercury. Looks so much better. Something to consider when debating whether to paint the cowlings. I think its easier and being the motors are new feel its kind of cool to advertise so to speak. Also had the speedos changed out to 120mph ones . Now I can have some swing on the dial. Before they only moved about 2 inches up the dial and started at 40mph. Now I can get almost all the way around.

Skater has the boat right now. They are tying up a few things. We decided a couple months ago that they would keep and store it over the winter. They are going to bring it to Miami in Feb and as long as no body screws with it down there they will send it right to me after the show. Its a lot of boat for me compared to my 21 Checkmate I came from and I would like to get comfortable with it in water I don't have to worry about so much.
