I can honestly say if it was my machine about to be delivered... Peter's booth would be featuring the I/O on the tilt trailer and an empty trailer in the middle of the booth as I would be out running the warranty out of it!!!

I commend you all for that beauty!
Once Again Thanx Speich, The Skater Boys were all great to me and perfection takes time. I listened to their advice at pretty much every turn and looking back it was definitely the right move. Im starting to get antsy but it isn't that far anymore. Cant use it here now anyway. Saved me storage fees this winter and Sales tax for boats just got cut in half in NJ after feb 2016. Gonna save me a nice chunk of change. The boat really wasn't ready for customer delivery when it went to Merc but had to go cause weather was about to go bad. The shake down Merc gave it was well worth the wait and the props they made for me were also well worth the wait. Nothing else they tried came within 5 mph of the new X cat props I ended up with. Taking delivery in October would have been stupid for me to do and It wasn't ready anyway. When I get it now it will pretty much be headache free for me. Still Im doing a lot of pretending and imagining these days. Aprill 1st is less than 3 months away. Thats my target. Steve.

Congratulations Steve on an awesome build and the cover of SOTW!

I don't know what is better. An outboard Skater on the cover or a boat costing $$$K being considered "practical"

Thanx Sam, Yea that is funny. I'm not sure how practical it is. Totally relative. It was very cool to finally get it (The Magazine) in my hands. Will be cooler when I have it in my backyard (The Boat). Then it can be all the practical anybody wants it to be.

Hey guys was at Skater and took some pics of my rugs and the blue "R" to finish off the rest of the blue decals on the motors. It looks so much better with that changed over from Red. Just never posted them. Steve.

Yea Sam, They cut the sides of the windshield down on more of an angle toward the rear. they were too high all the way back and caused a buffeting effect on the passengers ears or something like that. I didn't experience it. Think it looks better too.

Steve there's your baby with palm trees in the back ground.

Is that a Leopard Print blanket under the shrink wrap?

Hey Ron, Just bring it back when you're done please. I couldn't stand another year and a half. You'll need props too. I have the special Mercury ones at my house. Ha
