Hey Boys, Saint Ruth is home. Soooooooo Happy. Due to the Marina being very crowded and boats need to start moving around for the season opener we are going to put her in the water this Wednesday and get her on my lift in the backyard. We will go for a ride of course being that it will be 73 degrees out. Cant wait. After that I can use her when ever the weather permits. Yay.

This brings up a question. Water temperatures are pretty cold. Any special recommendations for operating outboards in 40 degree water?

Well boys. Finally got her home and got to use her on my own terms. Just me and my girlfriend. Took some time to get used to things but went out for a twenty mile run. Bay had about 2 and a half foot chop on it and we floated right over it all. Awesome. Started out running about 80 to 85 with my girl because she wasn't used to the different ride from a V hull but she got used to it pretty quickly. We ran up to 106 on the Toms River a couple times. It was a bit calmer there. The boat ran like a dream. I had to keep my eyes on water pressure and temp cause of engine height but everything went well. Once I didn't hear any concerns coming from my girl I stretched her legs pretty good and ran up to 106mph. It was the two of us and full tanks about 1300lbs of fuel. Close to 220 gallons. Wasn't planning on that much but after tying up with no rub rail for fuel I decided I didn't want to go thru that again for a while. Ha. So full up it went. Throttles were all the way forward but I had to come off as I was running out of room. She was still climbing when that happened. I think she had 108mph maybe more in her with all that fuel. Thought that was pretty good. Sorry don't have any videos or pics to post. Tim Sharkey took some and has them posted and a Y tube video but I'm not going that fast as I was still figuring things out. Sorry. Ill do better next time.

Hey Guys, Got a little seat time today and just had to post something. Me and my girl went out for a quick ride after she got home from work today. Second time out. Ran a quick route about 26 miles. Ha. Its a lot different than doing it in my Checkmate. I would have turned around and gone home in that boat. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this boat is. Its so cool to just float along at 80 to 90mph like its nothing. It was bit snotty out but Saint Ruth went over it like nothing. Iam so pleased with this boat and I haven't even really used it that much yet. Everybody was right about the top end thing. Im not even thinking about it too much any more. My cruising speed range is awesome and once and a while I run her up to 100mph which she gets to with ease. Its so cool to be able to go out without checking the wave/chop height too much. Love floating along and it doesn't matter which way or how high the waves are that are coming at you. The boat is rock solid and eats up the slop with ease. Just had to get that off my chest quickly.
