You should spend a little more and buy LA's 28 in the classifieds. Every bit as fast or faster than a 24 and much better handlin, safer boat.
No comparison. Plus the tanks were redone.

Very nice looking 28, but just a little out of my price range at this point. Running a smaller lake in Missouri, Mark Twain Lake, don,t see any Skaters on it but would really like to get in one.

Craig is a great guy. I think you should call him just to shoot the sh!t and talk Skaters. Better yet, I think everyone on OSO should give him a call and just say hey. He would love that.

What did I do with that number...

What I've found is you learn to drive on the smaller lakes get board after awhile and then try bigger water which can lead to trouble. Get a 28 and learn to drive it. Then you will be set when you decide it's time to go find someone fast to run. A 24 will do that but is much less forgiving. The cost of ownership is no more than a 28 once purchase. You also need to make sure you can get insurance on a 24. I had my 28 with Farm Buearu.
