Default 28 Skater tank job

I finished up the tanks in my 28 and decided to do a few minor mods, cap job, hatch re-hang and some other cute stuff.
I had never shot gel cote before, but with some internet time, some information an a little help from friends, it is complete and sealed in PVA as we speak.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, now some block sanding and color.

Did you do the tanks? The cap looks great.

Thanks, I'll do that. Finishing this is going to be great.

"Yessir" I did. I installed aluminum tanks in my own mounting system. Thanks for the kudos.

When your done be sure to get some of these flush mount twist snaps from Tyson ( BigYellowCat).
Way nicer than having them stick up. Just replaced all 5 on 30 with them today.

A "few minor mods"? Errrr?

Geez, I am such a rookie.

Are you going all white, or do you have paint over gel?

I have a color scheme, the bottom up to the first hard line will be white gel, from there up will be paint. Basically the gel provides a super hard and flat base for a good paint job.
Rookies become pros with practice, I'm still practicing. ;-)
