used a version of acrylic for the uv longevity with less yellowing, impact strength,,flexability and cutting/shaping properties, more scratch resistant and easier to polish out if scratched
as I cut in a bevel on bottom to match boat hull so fits flusher to hull
I believe was acrylite version of acrylic ,,,,not standard stuff,,,,,most military shields are from this,,,,
lexan yellows fast in the sun and harder to shape/grind
can do clear and is made in different shades and solid colors
want to keep them as a 1 piece wrap for the look
so must be thermos heated in mold to do 1 piece so bit more work but I like it better than splits and plates
I don't have more pics as I just make the parts ,,,,lol
I have a 28 here I'm restoring now and will have 1 on it but will be a couple months before I do the screen on it ,,last thing to go on it paint and interior 1rst

the trim moulding is acrylic also,,,,last screen was smoked so used same smoked shade
screen if fully finished and all mounting holes pre drilled and comes with all screws and drill bits for pilot holes
so its a fast install
as most others u have to trim acrylic and screw holes,,,,,
2,500.00 + shipping

What a screaming deal! John I've lost track of the $$$ you could have saved me if you had done this 4 years ago. ;-)

Really is a nice set up, and priced right. NP
