Skater 32B and 450 R
Dear skater enthousiast, i am the owner of a 32 b and i am in the process of conversion from inboard to outboard.
i need specific info on rigging of the outvoard engines. Hope someone out there can help me. I tried to email skater but no reply yet. As i live very far, info on high performance is..... non existant. Thanks to the web may be you can assist!!!
1. Do i need to solidify the transom? (It is understood that i will need to make minor modification to accomodate the outboard engines)
2. Is there any modifications required to the hull?
3. What is the recommended set back? I will be using Bobs machine or ditweiler powerlifts.
4. What would be the ideal gearcase height (nose cone sportmaster style)?
5. What gear ratio should i purchase with the engines?
6. What prop should i use for reasonable speed but also acceleration ( i am thinking bravo 1 32" or the high performance max 5? It is understood that i do not have the flexibility of trial and error here... so we need to go for something safe...
7. What cruising speed and top speed can i expect?
8. How far apart shoild the engines be?
Would there be a difference in set up between the 400 r and the 450r on a 32b?
Thanks for your time and look forward to the feedback when you have a moment.
