Just my $.02 but that's alot of work for 2mph. Also sometimes the waterpickups disturb too much water from getting to the props. I know there were some 24's that ran the bob's machine shop low water hull pickups. I would also think that 2" would be the MAX before you lose prop bite. GOOD LUCK with it.

I've got a friend with a Cougar 24 and he stopped at 5.5 inches above the bottom.Ryan, I'm surprised at you.You know that speed is everything.I know guys that spend 4k for 2mph.I know for a fact that I can get 3mph for the cost of transom mounted pick ups which is about 200 bucks.Hell I can even go all billet and stainless line ,etc and maybe spend 400.I'll keep you guys posted. My guess is my 24 Skater with 450hp will run 106 in Havasu in the next 6 months. If I change my 6" set backs to 12" or 16" then I bump my prediction to 110mph.I love the boat so much I know I'll have it for a while so why not.Wish me luck.Anyone done transom pick ups?Pics?Info?
