Default Skater 28

Closing in on a 28 Skater.
Boat looks clean but I still need a survey for piece of mind and insurance.
What are the problem areas on this boat that I need to look extra close at?

Crawl inside the sponsons and look for any repairs, also look at the transom inside and out.If it was never raced or abused it will be a great boat.I have owned a 10 meter Fountain and a 28 Pantera race boat. The 28 Skater is by far the best.Let me put it to you this way. There is a 37 Outerlimits on a local lake with 900sc and I can beat him in the rough water or the calm water!Enough said!

Try 3`-4` coming from any and all directions.Ask anyone that has been on lake Lanier on the weekend how rough it can get.All I am saying is the 28Skater is a hell of a rough water boat.Bring your cig down and I and 4 other 28 Skaters will show you some rough water and what our transoms look like.

I can vouch for Steve because I have seen it with my own eyes on several occasions. The 27-30 cats dominate Lake Lanier and if anyone has ever boated on Lanier on a busy weekend they know how rough it gets. The only real race these cats have are each other.

By the way I have a 28 Skater at my shop right now that can be bought for a real good deal. A 94 w/2.5's and new lowers. PM me if interested.
