Sonic Paint Numbers
Need the PPG paint numbers Sonic uses for the yellow and purple. I need to do some touch up on a couple of chips. It looks like it has some metalic in the purple.

Captwk,
If your purple is the purple that is on my boat it is a custom for Sonic only. Your going to have to call Sonic on that.

Re: Sonic Paint Numbers
Sonic has these colors specially formulated for them by a PPG store that they use so you will have to go to them to get the correct colors. They also use 2 different colors of purple so you will need to get the correct one. I would think that they would have a record of the colors that they used on your boat. I got touch up paint from them when I took delivery on mine.

Re: Sonic Paint Numbers
The sonic paint is a PPG reformulation of House of Kolor colors. The "s" codes that you will get from the factory will do no good. They are Sonic codes not the actual color codes. I have some yellow ice and some purple in my shop I'll try and find them and give you the PPG codes. They are also coated with PPG clear. Blending the clear is tricky. Good luck

Re: Sonic Paint Numbers
Durthane clear is used on the sides and 20\20 clear or a newer number that is similiar is used on the top side. The 20/20 is an acrylic urethane and the Durethane is a polyurethane which is harder and will handle more abuse than the acrylic urethane.
