If you really want to go up in pitch, try looking for an old 24 Mach. They seem to have a little less stern lift which makes them a little more efficent than a bravo. I had great luck with one on my old baja. Stay away from the Hydro's, I hear they blow out pretty easy on a Sonic. Good luck with it and keep me posted on your findings. Very useful information

Sonicblaster, I have a 2001 Prowler with a 502/415 HP, turns the 22" Bravo 1 5000 RPM with a speed of 63 MPH. When I run my 24" Bravo 1 RPM of 4700 with a speed of 63 MPH (better cruise speed,worse planing). Sounds just like my boat as far as performance. Steve

oh the daul ram external steering i put on steers earier now then it did before,very light on the steering wheel,before it was like it had very little assist,dave

well knock on wood, i've been running the same drive with a supercharger for about 5 years now,just don't hammer on it and change the drive oil often.dave
