Default Replacing refigerator

I need to relace the frige in my 42. Anyone done this? Any advice on getting it in the cabin? The Norcold direct replacement unit is 3" to wide.

Yeah, I had the same problem. So, I ripped out the old one and made an extra storage cupboard. Cooler works better for me anyway, pack it at home and leave the stuff in there! No worries about anchoring out either.

You may have to fix your fridge instead of replacing it if you don't want to employ the lady above.

I'd LIKE to employ the lady above, but it won't involve my frige.

Madcow,
I know on my 386 the fridge was put in thru the hatch in the deck. Yours may be the same.

The 42 I just bought is missing the fridge. A freind of mine just replaced his in his black thunder and we are going to put one in mine. He took the door off of his and loosened the compressor and moved it out of the way and it went through his door. Hope do do mine in a couple of weeks will let you know how it went.
