Default Sonic 31SS 575 SCI

Recently purchased a 2003 Sonic 31SS with 575sci’s and am curious if anyone knows how many 31’s were factory built with 575 scis’s and XR drives?

Did you buy Todd's boat out of Indiana?

I don't think I've ever seen another one; but I'm sure there are a small handful. The 31SS was their best selling model. It was a logical step up from buyers who started with a 26' Sonic Prowler, or similar. Accordingly, 502 Mags, 496 varieties, and 525EFIs occasionally were normal power.

This is the only other one I can think of. I'm not sure Todd in Indiana still has it though. Maybe he will chime in. I know he bought a 40 Hustler last year.

I had had a brief conversation with him the boat had sold at that time. If you know of anyone that has any additional history on my boat or this specific package from Sonic any info would be appreciated.

Your boat has AC correct? How many BTU and how many watts does it take to run? Just used ours for the first time this last weekend and loved it! The ride is amazing and it doesn’t hurt that it rips too!!

Yes sir it does have AC, i have only used it twice as it needs to be replaced with an updated unit. So im unclear on the specs but for the time spent onboard and using it, worth every penny. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Sonic, rides better than most 31-36ft powerboats especially in choppy water. When Todd owned it he did some motor work and refresh just prior to when i purchased it so to say the least, this boat moved when you want it to. Just maintain it and im in the middle of some cosmetic (paint touch ups and bolster motor failed) updates. Cash and time permitting. Congrats on yours though, awesome graphics scheme
