I was thinking about doing this the last few days, but delayed too long & I took off on the Sonic for two weeks during the Holidays.
Here is my Progress:
1. all new wire connections & fuse blocks under dash now
2. installed a #6ga. 12vdc & ground block under dash (no dim lights now!) for all switched functions. cuts voltage drop to insignificant levels.
3. Replaced a fuel tank sender unit- stuck in the "empty" position.
4. Removed all spliced wiring & "surplus" (owner added-junk).
5. Upholstered the bolsters & installed the drivers side.
6. removed corroded & defective macerator head unit for later replacement.
7. replaced broken thru hull drain (been leaking for a long time evidently) from sink.
8. new battery switch
9. Installed hatch lift
10. removed all non-oem plastic panels for replacement w/oem or custom panels.
11. replaced shorepower a/c breaker panel (missing from boat).
12. installed rear anchor light mount in hull.
13. fixed engine cover mis-alignment
14. removed the large compass to install GPS in custom made housing behind windscreen
15.removing engines now (this week) to rework & re-finish engine bay.
To Do List: engines to be tested & broken down to assure they are identical internally (one is mark IV, one is gen V), rebuild & upgrade cams & carbs.
Scheduled is also replacing all bilge pumps, reconditioning all hydraulic ( trim & k-plane) pumps & removal of corrosion from them. replace missing pump fill cap.
Replacement of all corroded wiring terminal blocks & connections in the engine bay. Install all new battery cables ( & grounds) to starters
Install new external Latham steering
Install Stainless Marine exhaust manifolds
Re-upholster the back seat & build new seat frame for same.
Install new (killer) sound system.
I have a lot to do before my ankle surgery (after the Miami Boat Show) as I will be in a cast afterward with some limited mobility for several weeks. Any volunteers to help???
& thanks for asking!

When I am looking at it, I wonder if I will ever get it done.... but I know I will, I just hope the money holds out!! That is always a problem in this sport & I just completely rebuilt beyond spec the two engines in my Formula (which is for sale- a bargain).
I just can't wait to get back to work on it this weekend.
