Don't feel bad I blew the upper case of an alfa drive apart after launching off of a wave once. The entire upper part of the drive case had a 1/8 crack right down the side.
get it fixed and get back on the throttle

Both are nice but if you go IMCO make sure it has the lip on the leading edge of the housing...if not put a bead of silicon when installing.

Just this weekend i cracked the housing on the drive where the shower goes through. I did not hit anything in or out of the water. The boat was launched a few times. Could the pressure on the shower from re-entry have broken the drive housing?

impulsive, what type of shower are you running? I've never heard of a shower breaking a drive, got any pics?
