Talking Center Hill Poker Run 9/24/05

Some friends of mine and Pates Ford Marina are putting on a small poker run on Sat. the 24th. It's a 5 card stop starting at 1p.m. and ending at 3:30p.m. at Pates Ford. There will be a live band at 7 p.m. and the restruant will be open for food all day. It's a low stress run everyone will enjoy. If anyone is interested Call me @ 1-615-604-1666 or Brent Hall at 1-615-969-6922. I'll post more info as it becomes available.
Thanks, Ken.

Kennyo:
Thanks for the heads up. 1st I've heard about it. I'm open that weekend, and will try to make it.
I'll spread the word to our computer challenged friends.
Regards,
Steve

You ran in our Fun Run. They are all the same, no big deal. Well, I think Lake Cumberland may be different.

Listen to me ramble, I'm not even going because I'm saving up cash to install new transmission in the Tahoe.

GamerOver1stmate:
After the water and traffic we were in at Cumberland last weekend, this one should be a magic carpet ride.
Rough wouldn't be the correct description. I was happy to make 45MPH a couple of times, and must have 5' in the air 2 or 3 times . Now with pics.
I even told my 1st mate, who's a serious chicken, that she could handle this one. You may see her beating me with a wine bottle , but I'm going to try to get her to ride ............................you guys should too.
Just reserved our slip for Saturday.
Regards,
Steve

This won't be any rougher than a normal day on Old Hickory. The entry fee is $25 and you can also buy into the "worst Hand" for $10. I'm defintely spending that 10 bucks. They should have plenty of room around the docks. There are some covered slips available also if you want to spend the nite and hang out Sun.. That's what we're going to do. If everyone comes up and stays we can have one "last big raft up"on Sun.. It should be cool enough to sleep on your boats or you can call Pate's ford and see if they have any cabins left. Thier # is 615-597-4807.

Hey, I just called and they have a double wide trailer a bunch of you could pile in for $195 on Sat. nite. It's a 3 bedroom plus fold out coaches. Some of you could go in and have a cheap place to stay. It's at the top of the boat ramp about 50 yards from where the band will be playing. I've stayed in it before and it's nice.

WOW, 25 bucks....we might be in on that one. I didn't know it was going to be that cheap. Guess you need to post a little more info when you get it. I can handle it if it's not too rough. If we come we'll sleep on the boat. I am sure that my brother will run it also. Do I need to tell him to bring a boat load of chicks??
