So who all is comming to Watts Bar ??? I am just the next cove over & less than 1/2 mile from the marina. However I am Between boats right now , I just sold my Pantera & I don't have my Saber ready yet...

I'll be there Thursday around noon. Taking an extra couple of days off. You can ride with me if you'd like. Not the fastest (2004 28' Challenger Offshore). So far, it's just me. Wife won't ride as I go too fast. Ken

Thanks , guys I appritiate the offer. I will let you know if I decide to take you up on that. Do any of you know where you are going to launch from ?? They have a ramp at the marina but not sure how much trailer storage they have ??

I anybody gets in a jamb at the ramp you can go to Hornsby hollow boat ramp. It is probably less than a mile from the marina & it has a real good ramp ( nice & wide ) with a dock ,
& it is all paved. Which as most of us knows helps a ton backing a heavy sled down a steep ramp. I hate that gravel slide !
They have plenty of parking for a good sized trailer. It is in a campground & I leave a trailer there from time to time without any problems of anybody messing with it.

Just thought I would share a good alternative just incase.

Also does anybody know where the card stops are ??

It looks like I have a bad listing problem but it is actually Marshall's 500lb camera bag. I thought he had a dead body in that thing. Of course, my 310 pound azz ain't helping either.


John told me that the marina is fine with us launching there up till the parking gets full. He said there was a nice ramp about a mile down the road, I assume he is talking about the same one.

I can't wait, it has been a looonnngg time since I have been on Watts Bar.

I have no clue. John said that one of the owners of Euchee had worked them out but I have not had a chance to call him and ask.

How did you guys like Watts Bar & the run ? I didn't make it over to the docks untill saturday around 12:15 or so & I just made a real quick walk through & then went & got in the boat with my father in his Formula & we watched you guys blow through headed towards the dam. Not sure what you guys were expecting as far as boat turn out but it seemed to be pretty successful for the first run , or atleast outside looking in.
What did you guys think about it ?

I would have liked to have gotten to meet a few of you but I just wasn't able to get ther in time to hang out.

Btw: kenvik01 Why didn't you run ? Your boat looks really good. What does the boat weigh & how does it run ?
