OK, I actually read through and completed the membership Application today. I understand that I nees a "Sponsoring Member". If anyone would like to step up and sponor me I would be appreciative.
I have been boating on ****inson / Galveston Bay for all my 45 years. I was "given" and small 14' Aluminum jon boat with a 7 1/2 hp sears outboard when I was about 10, began operating a 14' Cobia tri-hull with my younger cousins when I was 14 or so, had a 18' Hobie Cat all through high school and college and after graduating colege in 1985 purchased a 27' Regal Commodore equipped with twin 330's which I kept and operated out of Lakewood Yacht club from 1985 to 2001. I then purchased a Donzi 16 Classic in 2004 which I had for 2 years but there were complaints of my sons mother that the freeboard was toooo low compared to the Regal and so moved up to a 33' Scarab in May of 2007.
I have taken and passed the Power Squadron boating safety course.
If anyone is interested in meeting me to give sponsorship ... please PM me.
Thanks

and yes I am being a bit facetious ( and yes I checked the spelling) .. although the facts are true.

I'm not interrested in trailering much right now. I have access to a F-250 diesel that I use to pull around but its a 2WD and I have been having a bit of trouble gettint it up out of the water with the 6 wheels on trailer taking most of the weight. I purchased a 150 gal water tank to place in the bed to weight it down but my co-capt is not interrested in learning how to pull a 42' trailer around ... hence placing in Endeavor dry stack three weeks ago...... also the parking under the 146 bridge was for caca.

Jeff,
Just call Grant Greytok - Pres. of TOPPS Clear Lake and he'll tell you to list his name as sponsor. It's no big issue. His cell # is 713-376-1448.
Just e-mail me back if you have any problems - Tommy

If you still are needing contact info for Grant, go to the TOPPS Clear Lake webpage, and there is a contacts list which will get you his email address.
He answered back fairly quickly when I sent him a message.
