If we do not get a lot more rain we are going to be in trouble again next year when the water starts going down 2' per week.

Hey just thought I would let you austin and surrounding area guys know, if you need your boats moved or something and cant get to it yourself Im not working till atleast the first of the year, possibly into Feb or so. I live in Round Rock behind the outlet malls so Im not far from the lake.

Well at least it is now higher than it was on Memorial Day. Inching up day by day.

The LCRA just released a 75 year history timeline on the Highland Lakes. It has some very interesting pictures and video from past floods, dam contstruction and failures.
