Guys, there is pleanty of water. I was floating around in 135 ft of water by the Oasis. The Mansfiled Dam was open yesterday. Don't let the media screw you. You can also launch in Lakeway, Lake Travis Marina, Kellers and I am sure there are more. The water is ultra clear and the perfect temp.

This weekend is the annual Carlos n Charlies memorial run for Jack Carmody. They have a bunch of new parking open at CnC's as well. Should be a fun run.

Was out on the water last night -- first time in 3 weeks. The difference in level from 3 weeks ago is pretty remarkable. But as aTX said -- there's still plenty of water to enjoy.

Just pay attention along the shorelines and points. Plenty of places to get into a tight spot if you're not careful. That, and most everyone seems to be favoring the centerline under power -- so watch traffic.

Wow, Travis just made our news too. They mentioned that a floating restaurant had to be towed away. I have to assume they were referring to Johnny Finns. Anyone know where they moved it and is it even open right now?

That was Finn's. Closed until the lake rises.

This weekend I am going to take some pictures for the media. The only pictures they show here is the coves that are dry, piers with boats sitting on the ground. Not a single picture of water. They make it sound there is NO water in the lake.

Media's whole point is to only show the negative and to scare people.
They wont show all the people out and about this weekend having a great time.
We will be out tommorow testing my new motor,if all goes well
Ill be at the run saturday. See ya'll there!
