East to Pensacola Pass through Big Lagoon to Ft. McRee is also a nice little adventure.
Thank you for the heads up. I was totally messing with you about parking the trailer. I致e got a spot reserved by the boat launch so all good. I知 definitely up for some exploring and boat watching. Not too worried about hanging with the big crowds till things settle down some. Thank you again for all the info. I知 really looking forward to burning lots of fuel.lol

100% agree we've done that a number of times and now I wish I was getting down there sooner.

the perfect day is when the Blue Angles are practicing, free air show from the comfort of clear water and cold drinks!

F-14 RIO... like Goose in Top Gun. Runner-up for the single "events coordinator" slot (Blue Angel #8) on the Blue Angels Team way back in 1990.

Robertson island is also known as Sand Island I believe and it now connects to the remnants of Fort McRee on the western side of Pensacola pass

So far we are having a blast! Loving the area and the boating. I知 also impressed with this Cobalt. We went out into the gulf twice today and totally felt comfortable.
