Thanks .. for the info I will call him in the am ..Are you a regular boater in the Sarasota area ? It will be my first time boating in Florida .. anything i should watch out for ?

lots and lots of sandbars.be sure you have a good g p s
sarasota bay is nice on a windy day..it stays pretty flat.as the gulf can get pretty rough..
if you go to the tip of anna maria island in tampa bay..lots of boats just hanging out..
