Yeah, Dave wants me to try a set of 15 X 30 5-blades and go from there.

Well tested my new Dave Dewald 5 blades today... 15" diameter x 30 pitch 5 blades

2 people on board
5/8 tanks of fuel
90 degrees
90 % humidity
Flat fresh water
Motors set at parallel

6000 Rpms
100 mph on GPS
5 % slip

Very happy with the numbers and his props. Will try them again when it cools off some in a couple weeks. Depending on the outcome of that may have him cut the diameter down to 14.75"

Finally got to try a set of 15 X 30 Dewald 5-blades today. It ran 104 @ 6700 with 2 people and 1/2 tanks. This is the fastest the boat has ever run with 2 people. I think there's still more to be had with more RPM, too. The connection to the water and the acceleration are noticeably better than my Merc 4-blade 15 X 32 cleavers. They are pretty as well.

The tab was on there when I bought the boat. It's just a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum bolted to the K-plane.

I got to run a set of 14.75" X 30P 5-blades today. The boat achieved a new top speed with just me, running 108 MPH @ 6850 RPM. It feels so stable at WOT. Love the Dewalds! The pic almost looks like 109, but it was right on the 108 mark.

UPDATE .... Dave cut my 30P 5 blade Dewalds from 15 inch down to 14.75 .. Between the cooler weather and cutting out that 1/4 inch of diameter I picked up 4 mph and 200 rpms..

2 people on board
5/8 tanks of fuel
74 degrees
52 % humidity
Flat fresh water
Motors set at parallel

6200 Rpms
104 mph on GPS
5 % slip
