Whipple or pro charger?? 288
I am a Whipple charger fan but don't know how the fit will be in my 288.(will the pulley hit the seat?) Anyone on here put one in? I saw a pro charger in one a few years ago and looked like no problems. Also what about any advice on them. I figure the obvious like build the drive, a steering arm, drive shower, and k-planes ( I have Bennett now)
What speeds?? I figure I am doing 67-68 with my 496 Mag and should do in the low maybe mid 80's ????
Also the blower noise was loud on the pro charger is it the same on the Whipple?

Re: Whipple or pro charger?? 288
Whassup,
The Whipple approach has been heard here in the factory much more than the ProCharger. I've heard of easy installations with no problems with the pully and very good performance. Used to be alot of that setup in Ozarks, especially on the Dominators with the old 454 Mags.
