Thanks for sharing. We have one of the bigger ones and it just doesn't seem to fit in anywhere! I guess we will figure something out!

I remember Bayley removed his radio and mounted his GPS right in the middle of the dash. The radio was mounted in the cabin with a small remote to control from the drivers seat. There are some pictures archived somewhere. Bayley has a 32 and therefore has more guages, so it should be much easier in a 288 since the layout is similar.

I would think if it fits here with 2 shifters and 2 throttles, it should definitely fit here in your 288.
I can take closer pics this weekend if you plan on putting it here.

Kanookster - I'll have Jimmy look at it but it may cover up the stereo controls right there. Thank you!
Holms - That would be exactly where Jimmy would want to put it but the compass gets right in the way! Thank you!
You guys are the best!
Thanks for your responses!

I mounted mine in the passenger dash panel. My co-pilot takes care of navigation duties and operates it just fine..

Chris,
Thanks! I thought about over there but I do enough as it is!!!
Besides, he likes to play with the buttons!!!
It looks like yours is the same size as the one that we got.
I guess we'll figure out something!
Thanks again!!!
Hope all is well with you guys!

I bet,,,, your job is to sit there and look fantastic right ???
I like to play with the buttons also, and was thinking of moving it, but no matter where I put it on the drivers side, it seems it would block a gauge or clutter up the helm..
Been a real slow start to summer,
,, have a good one...
