I'd say it would probably run about 74 with the 377 Scorpions.
I believe the Scorpions make 350HP at the prop. It's a nice motor but for the premium they charge I would go with the big blocks.

Good point about the warranty and money comparison. My heart is set on a pair of 496HO's when the time comes (soon) to step up a notch. So with that being said, what are the numbers for a fairly loaded Dominator (vacu-flush, a/c, tv/vcr) with the HO's? I'm assuming, based on what I've seen on this board, that it would be a consistent 83-85 on gps. Would that be correct?...

Hey Rick, I have a fully loaded 32' Dominator with 496 Mag HO's. I just got a GPS, only used it once. 95 degrees, 50 % humidity, low fuel, no passengers. 77.4 MPH @ 4900 RPM. Everyone else I talk to seems to be running faster I think 85 MPH is pretty optimistic, I'd like to see that.

Kirk, 85 could possibly be a stretch but I've been hearing on here and the Sunsation site, that 82/3 is a solid number with the HO's. I've seen 87/8 numbers (gps) listed for the HP500 package which makes sense for only 90 more ponies. 77.4 is barely more than the basic 496mag package. I mean look what the 6.2 numbers are above for comparison. Dave what are the common numbers for a twin HO setup? If it's under 80 it would be kinda bizarre considering the other numbers listed for smaller packages...
